Joanne Yolles returns to her roots at Scaramouche
Scaramouche restaurant has announced that Joanne Yolles, pastry chef extraordinaire and creator of the famed Coconut Cream Pie, has returned to Scaramouche where she started her career 25 years ago. Chef Yolles has worked her magic at leading kitchens in Toronto since 1983 and is known internationally for her imagination, precision and consistency. She worked at Scaramouche with Executive Chef Keith Froggett from 1983 to 1997. “Returning to Scaramouche will be like going home,” says Chef Yolles. “The kitchen at Scaramouche is a very creative, inspiring environment and I look forward to developing desserts that surprise and delight the restaurant’s many loyal patrons.” Chef Yolles will resume her post at Scaramouche on December 1, 2008.
